Type A Gas Appliance Installations
Looking to install a new gas appliance or equipment into your workplace? RJW Gas Services cover all installation and servicing work required to comply with relevant Australian Codes and Standards.
Commercial and Industrial Gas Fitting and Installation
Regardless of the size or nature of your work place, RJW Gas Services offer gas service and installation in work place environments of any scale.
Type A Gas Device Certifications
All appliances that are from overseas or that are second hand that have not been certified in Australia must be prior to use. Once certified, they are affixed with a Gas Safety label outlining the date certified and information. Here is a common scenario; you have imported a six (6) burner range and a gas fryer and the equipment has no gas approvals. There are two options.
The first is that the equipment needs to be type tested through an approval authority. The process is suited for mass produced type A gas appliances.
The next option is the Individual Type A Gas Device Approval Scheme or also known as 2nd tier testing where each individual gas appliance is tested and certified as opposed to a mass approval of the model.
RJW Gas Services have a Queensland Gas Association 2nd tier certifier that holds a Gas Device Approval Authority for this scope of device and can facilitate this process (subject to conditions).

Type B Gas Appliance Installations
Type B Gas appliances are mostly required for use in industrial processes, however not all gas fitters can work on Type B appliances. RJW Gas Services are licensed and experienced to safely install, commission and service Type B Gas Appliances.
